I agree with you that all reflections are enhanced by the act of publication but not all writing reflects looking back on the early age of blogging where people would just record how their day went. You’re article Blogs as Modern Commonplace Books does a fantastic job of reminding us how blog writing has evolved…and the advantages it has over journaling for a smaller audience. Thanks, just read and enjoyed your post on the same subject. I write most every day, but deciding whether something is a personal journal entry, blog post or a full-blown essay that deserves more time can be a challenge sometimes.
