I think that layouts can be beneficial for people that don't have time, but if you're a beginner its probably better to start off with shitty designs so you can actually understand css/html/js and advance forward. Don't take this to heart, just something i was thinking about

Your site is very beautiful but one issue is the accessibility, the contrast is very low so its hard to read/see anything

totally agree... i mean if you don't really care about having a flashy design its fine to just go w a premade layout, but if you do i think it's worth it to start from scratch to fully understand what youre doing... i think ppl are too afraid of having an ugly site but all of the sites that look cool now had to go through an ugly phase at some point in order to get there...
I mean, it'd be more beneficial and efficient for people learning how to ride a bike to do it without training wheels, but that's a lot more difficult and intimidating, and isn't very practical for most people. It's more important to have fun when first starting out, because then you develop a passion that makes you *want* to try the harder stuff.
