i'm a big fan of the AUG A3 M1 (with the integrated optic, because of counter-strike). there is basically no aftermarket for it, except for maybe old STG-556 parts. doing the HK-style slap for bolt release is fun.

I love the look of the integrated optic. The one I shot was a flatop so I missed out. It at least used the real AUG mags instead of the STANAG mags.

Forgot to mention but in my recent appointment, basically capping my root canal, the female dentist from last time liked my cheapo Casio watch with the NATO band. She had one of those Casio Databank watches which I complimented too.

I still have no idea what to make of that small talk. Probably still a nothing burger.

i'm a fan of the yugoslavian M70. rifle is fine. the underrated feature of AK pattern is that it will run in extreme cold and low maintenance, though i did have one dust cover pop off while firing. it's interesting that russians still use iron sights, as optic mounting options are mediocre.

I remember when Yugos used to be looked down upon but it seems like they are pretty solid and respected these days.

I shot a ZPAP92 "pistol" a couple of years ago and it was pretty cool. It would be cool if it had an underfolding stock.

My code is absolutely diabolical. I didn't even do a style.css, just copied/and pasted CSS every time, which means I'm looking at a nightmare if I ever want a big visual update. Also, my code was copy/pasted from an old college project...... from like 15 years ago. I was being lazy.

you could link an index page with links to all your daily blogs instead of linking to the current one, or have it called "dailyblog" without the 2026 at the end and only add the 2026 next year and use the "dailyblog" for 2027 and then do the same
