Oh, uh, no awkwardness but, uh, I want to firmly say that I do not support Russia's aggression in Ukraine, and am in the region right now myself. I do, however, enjoy many varieties of Russian music, and I see no issue with that. I don't speak Russian, though. I decided to learn CSS instead, but I don't speak that very well, either. Languages are my worst subject.
i dont think ya even need to clarify that, imagine if you had to say this whenever you listened to an american song, just food for though
LMAO "I decided to learn CSS instead, but I don't speak that very well, either" SAME TBH AHAHAHA
I'm writing about a famous rant from the 2000s - "Why Wiccans Suck" - and I hope I gave it a fair break, even though I'm a bit critical. It made many intelligent points.
this is an interesting piece it's a lot more nuanced then it let's off. it's definitely challenging and divisive, thank u for sharing!
Love your article on Moyra! I when I saw the web jewels page I realized I passed through her archive page last year when I was working on the free web materials exhibition. Its true that a lot of early artists of web materials faced the copyright infringement dillemas and I think that is part of why the internet became so dull and grey.
Once people realized there was really no stopping the 'illegal' spreading of their creative work in the midst of the internet becoming a place where there was actually money to be made, the era of free web materials vanished very fast. Looking back on it now though there are so many wonderful creations to be found and the creators deserve to be put in the spotlight!
The purple is here to stay, at least for the time being. Making my site a bit more cyberpunk...
re: terribad. also the rise of myspace heralded the establishment of the surveillance state and the voluntary destruction of privileged information.
I'm in the middle of ur 2000s article do u mind if I share it in my next diary entry
