Wow, the AOL post sure took me on a trip down the memory lane. I mean, I didn't have an account there because, lol, not USian, but the ethos was nearly the same for much of the early internet profiles. keeping fake names, writing your location is Lavender Town (mine still is Twin Peaks in so many places!), blabbering about our hobbies. i occasionally take a (normal human dose) of Benadryl to help me sleep, and whenever i do i joke that the hat man is the one who owes me money and i'm trying to go collect.
great article, and interesting take I was not aware that Benadryl overdosing is done intentionally because I assumed that most people struggling with addiction will use other over the counter drug, but you are right about the side effect for the most part, i use to be a pharmacy tech and if I remember right the side effects can includes hallucination and trimmers.
