I want to be absolutely f'ing CRYSTAL CLEAR about this: iLands (& similar) is a human project. A group of organic brains -- a team of tech founders/developers/investors/other soulless hacks who wouldn't know what creativity was if it bit them in the ass did this. People like that should not be allowed within 500 miles of anything AI.
DO NOT let things like this freak you out into thinking that "ohnoes, the AI beast has come and there's nothing we can do!" AI is not currently sentient. It is just a tool. Every single thing an AI does is at the DIRECTION OF A HUMAN MIND. Do *not* let the owners of those human minds get away with misusing said tool and avoiding all blame for doing so. This is a "shitty humans" problem. I beg you to not forget that.
Neokitties of all stripes (especially those of you into dollz and pixels, as you seem to be the primary targets and it's mere semantics that one of my websites got the clanker's "attention"), I beg you not to lend credence to these spiritually and creatively bankrupt jackasses and their toy robots by actually affiliating with them.
