I might check out Cardboard Town, reviews say it gets very tricky though, is it still relaxing?

There can be a lot to balance, so I'm not sure about relaxing in most cases. Run based games lull me to sleep, so I have a weird perspective here.

Saw you mentioned Blazblue the other day, heck yeah. Shoutouts to that and Soulcalibur II, which are both legendary fighting games. That explosion sound could have been a firework given the time of year, or it could have been an electrical transformer popping somewhere nearby. Those booms sound insane, but it's really just the sound that's bad.

@sd-geno I think it was a transformer popping- if not, I am impressed by some neighbors acquiring that grade of firework! They are both so good! I used to play fighters a lot when I was in high school and college and kind of want to get okay at them again. If nothing else, it's just fun to vibe with all the interesting characters and settings in fighters.

Somebody near me was setting off a bunch of fireworks on Monday. The 13th. Y'all been calmed down for a week, but you're going to pick it back up on a random-ass Monday???

Were they at least after dark? This neighborhood has had fireworks in such abundance that people have set them off in daylight. Now that all the fireworks stands are gone, that is cooling down, but what is the point??

On the other hand, getting through a single day can feel like a damn miracle sometimes, maybe we're celebrating that
