foxing it up wanted to join your chat, but user registration is closed so I have copy pasted their message to you (in the underground chat)

for future reference for anyone trying to register an account in chat in the future, I turn registration off when I go offline for a long time (such as sleep/to work,) and when I come back online I turn registration back on :P so if you see me talking in chat, registration is likely turned on. If not, it's because of a troll creating accounts in chat, and you'll have to try later.

it’s giving him/her/them the message “you must log in, but cannot register this name, please contact the administrator.”
darkwing’s neocities isn’t old enough, so can you fix that? I think it has to do with user registration being killed off
I found this out by going in the underground chatroom, it’s them only access point rn

I messaged him there, I'll repeat the message here in case he sees it: make sure to check your spelling! One character off and it will trigger that message. If you spell your username exactly right, it will show you the password input field.
