To add to it, if I do get fired that means I lose access to my medical insurance in the middle of a medical emergency. My options are basically power through it until I pass out and split my head open or not go to work and potentially lose my ability to try to get the problem fixed.

The second choice could easily be fixed if the US government didn't hate it's citizens and didn't only recognize them as people only if they are working as wage slaves.

Congratulations! :) I've seen simply "engaged" or "betrothed" although they might be a bit too formal for some
i was thinking "fiancent", treating it like a verb and conjugating it for "they" (plural), but the silent "nt" might be offputting for english speakers. i've also heard "fian-they", but idk how serious to take that :/
