how is it that im more tired when I sleep 9 hours when compared to 6 hours of sleep

If a person wakes up in the middle of the REM stage of their sleep cycle, they usually feel tired. The same thing happens with shorter naps (e.g.: 30 minutes instead of 1 hour).

REM, I am the same way, can sleep for 8 hrs, wake up, be sleepy, take another 1 hr nap, be perfect
