I totally agree. Google search results are far from being organic. I recommend DuckDuckGo but it has its own flaws. Image search is terrible. And it is not ad free either and it is also victim of search algorithm abuse.
I usually use DuckDuckGo, but even that has been getting worse lately. Google is a lost cause.
I often add "site:reddit.com" to my search term whenever the search results aren't useful. Sometimes the reddit post or the comments can be helpful depending on what you are looking for.
