Update! Fixed many of the issues the site had. I also added a new album, showing a few of the photos I took over the past two years. I had been working a very stressful, all-consuming job. As of a week ago, I have quit and am free. I hope I can spend the summer shooting more pictures to make up for lost time...

Additionally, this fall I am hoping to return to Japan for a bike tour from Sapporo to Kagoshima. I miss the inaka and my Japanese has gotten so bad! If you would like to meet up (or come with me!) let me know!

My site is due for an overhaul, dear reader. I am unhappy with the mobile experience, image scaling, image loading speed and overall album setup. I wish I had the capacity to work on things now but I moved - again. My PC is once again spends its time as a tangle of wires in someone else's closet. Making another move soon... Hopefully the last one for awhile. Photo work continues.

I love your work, keep shooting! Your most recent blog post touched a nerve. Perhaps its why people like you and I are drawn to photography in the first place, the desire to leave something behind... Your photos of Tulsa are deeply nostalgic for me, I have fond memories of driving my old Jetta down the 412 to see shows at Cains years ago... Next time you find yourself in the DMV/DC, give me a ring.

I absolutely will! I'd love to hang with some photography peeps. I think you are absolutely right about what draws me to photography, especially analog. Having some physical representation of my experience versus a digital one appeals to me in a existential way, especially as a person who grew up with the early-ish internet.
