how do you guys handle accessibility for images that require longer descriptors? iโve just been shoving them in my alt texts regardless of length but i donโt *actually* know if screen readers can read past 125 characters or if itโs misinfo?? is it just better to incorporate image descriptions?

Tumblr allows up to 4k characters for image description, so I'm hoping that's misinfo. :o 125 characters sounds like old-school Xitter's tweet limitations. Since a lot of sites allow larger image descriptions, I'm assuming they read them properly.

125 is just the ideal length, i'm pretty sure it would still read everything past that. a lot of people recommend brief alt text alongside image descriptions because it helps both blind and low vision users

hard refresh!! finally fixed the problem with 403 Forbidden nginx errors showing up sometimes when navigating thru the gallery pages. it was such an easy fix too i just wasn't using absolute filepaths x-x

I just messed around using devtools, name: #hcb_form_name, website: #hcb_form_website, comment: #hcb_form_content, button: #hcb_submit
You might need to add !important at the end of the style rules to override the default styles
