hello. right after i quit my previous job, i started the i-land as a way to occupy my days, learn new things, and fulfil some dreams and aspirations. i have a new job now, which i am very happy about. but now i don't have the time to sit in the varanda and draw the day away. i'm very sad about that.
in the last 1.5 years i have become obsessed about this website. i spent +10hrs a day, almost every day, drawing and building it. i made +300 pages and +500 drawings. i made 5 mini games inside it. ive received 350 email messages, 13 pages of profile comments and 100s of submissions of outfits and dollhouses, plus 5 incredibly generous donations.
there's so many paths i haven't drawn or uploaded. i have so many ideas yet to flesh out. i thought to do it until i found a new job, and then i’d stop. but i don’t want to stop. i had the best year of my life and neocities was a big part of it.
my computer broke so i am existing from my phone now. there’s a few messages i haven’t replied to but i will. once i have the time, i will update more.
if you would like to contribute, you are welcome to do so. the i-land is open to new residents. we will talk more about this soon enough. thank you and thank you and may pumba meow upon us all.
We wish you the beat of luck with your new position. All this means is that you may cherish the time you are able to spend in i-land a little more. Universe be with U dear Catarinha, maker of worlds
Such is life when getting a new job, the personal projects can take the backseat. Sometimes it can be nice to take a step back though, so when you do return to your passion project you have a different perspective and perhaps an enhanced desire to work on it :)
currently at score 323 out of 300 of the exploration which i didn't think was possible... this site is so lovely, i love visiting it periodically to see what's new ^__^

Nevertheless, your work is very inspiring! It was a big inspiration for working on an upcoming game (your site, and a few other sites on neocities).
you are truly an artist!
