"Make and don't stop." I feel that.. I have had my head buried in as much sawdust as possible these last couple weeks. My version of "line work is unprofessional" right now is various imperfections in finished projects. Some dice boxes I just made have a sliiight wobble on the lid. Nobody but me will probably ever notice, but I'm still about to lay down and lose some sleep over it haha.

@bonkyrs Imperfections like that are what I find the most interesting in woodworking!! It feels so human. Add in the wear from daily use in a piece, and it has even more humanity in it. Wobbles = beauty!!!

Make and don't stop so true! I'm not an artist but I've had similar feelings about my writing before, which I also went to college and enjoyed receiving criticism for so I feel you! I think it's important to know that whether or not something you make is good is based on how true it is to *you.* you are unique and therefore so are the things you make! <3

Make and don't stop—regardless of politics, regardless of dubious critiques.

The answer to "Does anyone even read these?" is yes. I really enjoyed this post. Also I have an MN friend who often goes to the Arrows showing, and as someone in the UK it's so funny to me that people are going to an event specifically to watch our adverts! But I'm still glad you enjoyed them. Whatever brings you warmth in these cold times.

@ratlands Oh I think you may find it amusing that the local public radio's jazz station plays the BBC for the news hour. Nothing from NPR or anything. Just the BBC. British television is IN with the older hip folks here! Thanks for reading also :)) fills me with joy
Go for it! Your art style would lend itself really nicely to stuff like stickers, and scrolling through your art page I already see a few pieces that could work nicely. Plus stickers are just fun in general LOL. I've made a few out of Inkjet sticker paper, but eventually I'd like to order some really nice ones.
Your website is so fantastically creative, I would just view it as becoming more of your own if you were to put your own stickers on it! I'd love to see what kinda designs you come up with!
I would snag some stickers for my workshop for sure.
I would be into this and would definitely buy some stickers. I’m thinking of making a few silly things for sale myself. I guess I think if someone is already contributing to the community and offering lots of content for free, as you are, then there’s no harm in offering something that people can choose to buy.
Thanks everyone for your thoughts :] It helps a lot. I fear ruining the gar pond tbvh
given that your site is designed like a bait shop, i don't think an adjacent sticker stall is out of place :)
