I don't think it'll die. I work for a publisher and we almost made a bunch of crappy AI-illustrated books. But then they decided to hire a real illustrator, presumably because they realized AI art is stupid AF and our customers would not like it. I think other businesses will also come to this realization, though it may take the stupider and greedier ones a bit.

@oopsiedoodle yeah that's the conclusion that he came to and I agree with. Companies can't quite see or understand the value of real illustration, but they will figure it out eventually!
