So, I made a post earlier about how setting the width of the ::-webkit-scrollbar pseudo-element makes Waterfox display classic scrollbars instead overlay scrollbars, but for some reason this doesn't work in Firefox. The reason for that seems to be that Firefox actually implemented that behavior in an earlier version but later removed it, while Waterfox kept it. That's irksome. Why do you do this to me Firefox??

This begs the question of whether other forks have kept or removed this behavior, but it's not a big enough deal to be worth the effort of checking. Even so, it's really confusing why I as a webmaster can't force classic scrollbars instead of overlay ones. Like, if I have the ability to outright HIDE scrollbars even if it hurts usability, then why can't I make scrollbars appear the way I want to?
