I've never been in Warmia-Mazury region, the closest place was Suwałki region and villages in Lithuania nearby, from what I can tell I got way less lakes in my hometown Zamojszczyzna region :D I would love to see that comic, you can get my e-mail right from my website at the bottom!

Nice! I've got some maps of Poland from 2000-2005, but I haven't upload the photos of them, although I don't have a map from Kompas publisher, but I got some weirder ones like the map of cellural range of former Idea provider, gotta finally make that second paper maps page!

I can tell that map is from the early 2000's just by looking at the lack of highways around Warsaw, given the sheer volume of cars nowadays that I see driving those roads it's unfathomable how Toruń and specifically Warsaw could function without them! Only the planned A2 to western Warsaw reminds me of that extraordinary rush to finish it before the launch of Euro 2012, good times

And those two maps of Kaliningrad (Królewiec, Konigsberg or even Královec as we say in spite of the the russian government) are way much harder to find, I thought that on the right is a bit older, very cool maps you have!

tbh I like the russian name that was seldom used for the city before the 20th century, Королевец (literally the same as Krolewiec) but we ain't getting renamed from being named after a random stalinist who's never been here anytime soon

Now I realized that you also got some souvenir from Macao on that photo, cool, it's like a portuguese type ornament!

oh yeah it's a coaster with an portuguese Azulejo pattern! Azulejo tiles and Azulejo-style decor is all over Macao, and it looks great
I already saw some of the famous maps, but the animations are so cool and the podcast seems such a rabbit hole of interesting stories, thanks!
