Finally updated my homepage layout!! The css will come another day to match all the boxes with what I coded for the entrance, but I'm a lot happer with the denser page design haha

Finished the new css in full! It's around like 80% of the way there. Would like to clean the code up in the future, and maybe update other pages using the same aesthetics, but it fits the old site colors enough still I'll save myself some work for now. Next updates I want to be more content uploads again cause that's been stockpiling between archiving more art, but also wanting to start sharing some of my prose too!

Finally starting the big task of updating my home page UI, because a lot of what I want to update an work on is built around that as the base; took about 3 hours to get a new navbar working where I want LOL

Will attempt one day to make it a universal navbar I can display on other pages, but since I have different navigation layouts depending on the page it won't be a one to one. Really excited to be pushing the layout further from the templates I originally started with!

Not visible in the thumbail, but testing some new UI changes using my entrance page! Took most of the day to troubleshoot but really happy with the potential look of the boxes~ Gonna focus on content for other pages but knowing me I may end up doing the aesthetic overhaul sooner than later lol

I'm taking inspo from older mmo ui windows like LaTale and Flyff, as well as denser more maximalist page layouts like the older nintendo website and flash game portals, as well as different mutuals I've found inspiring on here~

For anybody that's done UI/style changes to their site before, is there anyway of doing that in a modular way? ie having one page you edit the style of, and it applies to other pages of that same style- or creating something like a navigation bar, and editing that one bar will update it across other pages of your site? Feel like theres a more efficient way to do that than how I've been lol

Oh also, If you're not already, set up some variables for your colours! You can assign hexcodes names in your stylesheet, and then call them later using that name. That way, if you update that colour, it'll change the colour of everything with that variable name to match! https://www.w3schools.com/css/css3_variables.asp

hard hardcore miss updating my site but also just exploring other pages again!! Work season's been very hectic this year + games keeping me occupied besides. Been very slowly uploading hundreds on hundreds of pics still for my gallery archive at the very least lol

Part of me wants to do a full revamp of the site design, but I am slow as molassas with even updating pages so I want the content done first before I overhaul that again. Eventual incentive. Need to research ui designs I like too tbh

Been a couple month since my last updateeee. Life been hectic but still been working on pages in the background when I can! Just been less time I've had to make some of those changes live .;P Got some new pixel art and a new indie review for In Stars an Time meanwhile!
