i don't know what the fuck it is about Libidinal Economy but it feels like i can only ever read it in doses and trying to read the entire book in one sitting over multiple days is miserable and i haven't figured out why

I want to recommend to you the book "The Gray House", by Mariam Petrosyan. However, I personally read the french translation (The author is armenian, so it was written in russian), which has a title which is directly translated from the original russian one: "La maison dans laquelle". I thereby recommend this version more. It's one of my favorite things. Idk if you take recommendation, but... enjoy?

it's a repulsive book but not in the sense of finding it disgusting or worthy of contempt but in the sense where i try to read it and i almost feel as if i'm being intentionally forced out of it
