I like that we have the same perspective on ML-Anarchist unity from opposite sides of the issue; I have my criticisms of Anarchism (mainly that it jumps the gun; it's intended to be the second stage of Socialism once all classes bar the state are abolished, per both Marx and Lenin) but fundamentally we've got the exact same goals and aren't enemies. I genuinely think the bitching between MLs and Anarchists is
completely useless, and there's nothing stopping us from just... having separate areas of land that work together autonomously. Not to mention you can't exactly build Communism while violating x group's autonomy (borderless Indigenous states, for instance)
@heoism Exactly -- I think a lot of the issues between groups are about things that literally would not matter unless we were actively setting up society post-revolution. My opposition to creating a state is on the basis of...once people are given that power, they will not want to let go of it...but this literally does not matter, because we are not to that point yet.
@heoism I do entirely understand why so many MLs dislike anarchists though. Anarchism is very misunderstood and, unfortunately, a lot of people who don't understand it still choose to take it on as a political label for themselves. But this is a whole separate thing lol
