Deserved tbh, "The General Will" is cope and democrats themselves cope because if there were such a thing it could only be manifested as the state, if not actually be represented by it. It all culminates in the modern technocrat JRPG villain desire to "create" God as a living embodiment of what they perceive to be the general will as the ultimate cope to avoiding facing the fact that Hobbes btfo's Rousseau.
