I'm genuinely curious why Mao always gets grouped in with the other, much more thoughtful Communist writers. He never contributed anything of value imo.

Yes and no, I've taken the name Year of Fayen from the Order of Nine Angles and Era Horrificus from something else but my Year Zero starts at the year and day of Karl Marx's birth
