turns out you can have aero glass titlebars with xfce. it's just you have to have individual folders for the themes instead of one giant folder with subfolders. i still wish that i could find a xfce-compatible theme with a glass start menu, but eh, it's whatever

do i miss having aero glass audio player skins so much that i'm willing to make a spotify account just to use spicefy's wmp11 theme? maybe, maybe not, but i'm considering it

@kuroi yeah the themes are cool. it's unfortunate that the retro ones kinda get buried in the results by the flat "modern" ones & sometimes gtk3 themes don't look exactly like the image on xfce. but it's still great that linux has software for such detailed themes by default

i figured out a trick so that images from discord don't save as webp. go to photopea in another tab, copy paste the image link into "open with url", then "export" the file as either a png or a jpg. you're welcome

i actually just change the file format on my own when saving the image; select from the file type dropdown “all file types” and add “.jpg” or “.png” or “.gif” to the end of the file name ☺️

I've found that opening Discord images in a new tab returns them to their native file format. I also have a browser extension that converts WEBPs which I use if that doesn't work.

(I do use Discord for web, though. I'm not sure if either of those would work for the desktop app.)
