This could have been written by me. The situation here in the netherlands is pretty similar. Our houses are not built to keep the heat out so I came home to a sauna every day this week. I cant believe Im saying this but I'm desperately longing for a rainy day. Staying inside with the curtains closed while moving a little as possible is how I cope with this weather. Take care!

Yeah, staying very still and praying for rain is all the rage right now. Thankfully a storm has taken a little of the edge off the humidity for moment here but it looks to get hotter again later today…

I'm also decently anxious around meeting a group of new people (which usually surprises my friends as I'm generally pretty outgoing/extroverted) but it helps me when I remind myself that most of the people (especially if they're strangers with each other) are likely feeling similarly or are obviously open to making friends and having a good time -- just need some warmth to open up and chat!

Yeah I try to think of it like that that too. And I did end up having a great time yesterday :-) It just takes me a while to open up around people.
