sorry i know i updated literally yesterday but i wanted to rant about art and AI for a bit Lol

the problem as i see it is, more and more people are being convinced into conflating Art with Content. these are 2 completely different things, but when people call AI style generators "artists", it means they no longer understand the distinction between the procedure and the result. they only care about the result.

but people who only care about the result arent being "converted" by AI, they never cared in the first place. they weren't the people who were gonna give your art or music a chance as an indie artist anyway. so whats the big problem

i'm not saying it's ok or saying that they shouldn't care by the way LOL i'm just saying that this group of people is really irrelevant at least to me

i actually get your point a lot. the type of people that are using AI have never seen artists as valuable in the first place. they dont even know that you are supposed to find meaning in it, they cant analyze a piece and tell you what "rhetorical devices", for lack of a better term, you are using.

ohh i see,, i dont really have a theme i think but for this design specifically i guess i was a bit inspired by the kind of things that i did in photoshop when i was like 15 LOL. i really loved doing little collages and designs for fake websites so i searched for some of my old resources and applied them here (this looks much better than what i made back then though lol)
