I've always disliked Facebook for the lack of being able to customise it. There used to be a lot of fun apps and games on it but even those seem to have gone by the wayside now, and with Twitter (which I used to use quite a lot in 2014 - 2016), they stripped everything from it that made it personal. does anyone ever feel bad about entirely redoing a page, especially one that’s from the earlier days of your site? i’m doing a new about and i don’t even dislike my old one (i actually do still like it just wanted to try something new) and i feel weirdly guilty about changing it lol

Sometimes! I felt kinda bad when I went to change my about page because I really liked how I had it before. That's why I keep backups of all my old pages just in case I end up wanting to revert back to any of them! Don't feel too guilty though because it's understandable wanting to try new things! <3

this is a great blog, and i feel the same about having a personal website vs. social media! also, after i turned 30, i also stopped caring less about fitting in and started being more myself. it was like i reconnected with my 15 year old self. i read a post one time that was like "when you turn 30, you become your 15 year old self again, but this time you love them" <3
@cozyamanda it's very true! i look back on my teenage self with much more love and grace than i used to. i think it's really neat that it's sort of a shared experience for people. and it's truly such a freeing feeling to just fully lean into what brings you joy!
@Cozyamanda In my teens and early twenties, I used to hide a lot of my interests but by the time I was in my mid twenties, I got fed up of it. By my late twenties (and I was at uni, by then), I didn't hide my interests at all. If people judged then that was their problem, not mine. I actually found it amusing though how younger people were more bothered about how others saw them. I hope that they've figured out how
to be themselves and not worry so much.
