i am far too sucked dry of energy from my graduation ceremony today but im glad i finally got to have one (context: my bachelor degree i got in 2020 so never rlly had a graduation, this was a post-grad diploma). been making progress on my devart mock page too :]
yo well 4-years-belated congrats!!! glad you got to have a ceremony :) can't wait to see what you're working on!!
thank u!!! i am genuinely happy to finally have an opportunity for it 🥲 surprisingly remaking the header of the devart site is the biggest pain in the ass so far LOOL, im sure the body content will be a lot easier ;_;
belated congratulations! also, this diary page style is brilliant! its always exciting to see the new things you add to your site
aww thank you all!! :D and @yarnfish, that is all on nanacore for her lovely diary page, which is where i initially saw it
im probably gonna stop dual posting on here (blog page) and on bearblog mostly just cause im lazy LOL, ill still drop off a message here with new posts, but not necessarily add it to my blog page
very relatable read. i've actually had similar thoughts as i have kind of used my library page on my website as a way to "archive" what i have been consuming in what i tell myself is a "meaningful" way - but i have questioned myself if it actually is. i suppose it's part of the processing. but is it still meaningful if i am processing it too much? haha, the mind is trifling.
it sucks that it’s a very ‘it depends on each person’ in how they see consumption. i log my stuff i watch/read mostly because my memory is subpar and i like remembering what i’ve already seen/my feelings on it :P
Fantastic post, real food for thought. I tend to data hoard and have a vast archive of 'one-day' material and unfinished projects. Perhaps it's time to stop fighting it and let go of some things!
glad it resonates!! it did to me as well when i was reading it; although i’ve never been much of a note hoarder (more bookmarks), it definitely was food for thought as well on what’s worth keeping and what’s in the eventual ‘i may get to it’. wish it was easier to see when you added bookmarks to know they’ve been there for months without being touched
sighs ok, i went back to griddery; not sure why i didn't keep it as griddery in the first place when i've been using it in all my other gallery-esque places like my minecraft page
looking over griddery for the first time, i imagine this works really well only for galleries / images rather than text posts?
it does yeah, im using it for my food pic logging, but the one i was using didn't work too well w/using tags to filter what images show ... or having them easy to update with new pictures
omg my childhood... this is amazing, aid!
That's so accurate, I miss that DA so bad (╥ᆺ╥;)
this is so nostalgic QAQ
this is incredible! looks just like the actual site. brings back memories...
thank u all!!! id love to release it as a template but my coding is SO messy-ish LMAOOO id feel bad for anyone having to go through it
omg this is so nostalgic!!!
