@oopsiedoodle sooooo when my daughter is doing homework and she get an answer right, we ring a bell. Twice for extra hard problems. I find myself declaring "double bell across the sky" because one can't resist to bear mention to one of the most iconic memes ever 🤣

Thank you, @oopsiedoodle! I think I always felt drawn to community and connection as a form of rebellion nowadays, so def I feel drawn to thinkers who balance individual vs collective in their commentary. I like how Neocities itself is a kind of digital third place to connect, I missed that vibe a lot ^_^
I didn’t know there was a Tweed version of Stroll! I can see it working really well for the Hermione socks. I have so much yarn already, but I might have to try it. I’m making a tank top in KnitPicks CotLin right now. I’ve never knit with cotton before, but it’s way nicer than I imagined
Also section 274 is so relatable. "Things that bother me don't bother others, but then I am relaxed about norms that others consider sacrosanct." I wrote almost the exact same thing the other day for a blog I haven't posted yet
The stash is so so real 😭 I sometimes fear I will never knit it all in my natural life. What pattern are you making in cotlin? I have been worried too that my years of knitting many many washcloths have made me assume that using blends will feel rough but I hear they wash softer and softer in time which makes me excited to give it a whirl.
I hope to read your thoughts too about the inverse feeling because I swear like certain work things of sensory stuff makes me prickly and then people freak out about some thing or another and I shrug like, ohhh that's no biggie! It's confusing sometimes >.<
I'm making the Typical Tank from Tiffany Liew. :)
