Howdy Quokka! I've applied the changes you reccomended and they made a big difference! Thanks a lot! I can't really say too much on the thinkpad, since I havent used one in a while. But I did like it, smooth and responsive. A good friend of mine might be getting one soon, so I'll get back to you on that.. If he ever lets me use it. LOL. But the Closest machines I've used that I've had a similar keyboard experience
..were a Dell Inspiron 1300, HP Elitebook 2730p, and a Dell Latitude XPI CD. Of those three I'll have to say the Inspiron had the best keyboard mainly becasue the other two were small form-factor machines with crunched-in keyboards. The Latitude was especially annoying because of it's non-standard key sizes, (tiny keys, yuck!).
Also, what do you think of Thinkpad keyboards?
