Update: I swear I'm not making this up. The neighbor two doors down has now left their keys in their lock. Not even the handymen in the building do that whenever they visit an apartment to fix. Are these dead drops or something?? I am definitely not supposed to be seeing this rn lmao

My neighbor left their keys in the lock of their front door last night, so I tried knocking on their door to let them know. No answer. I left a note taped to the door saying they left their keys in it, and the next day the note is gone and the keys are still in the keyhole. I have never actually met this neighbor. Either they're a disorganized mess or I'm witnessing something I'm not supposed to lmao

Scrapped idea I had to keep my site popping up in the Global Activity feed: Since you can click on the background of my homepage (on desktop) to change the color, I was considering changing the default color every day lmao. But I should just focus on making my site updates have substance, as tempting as that color idea is. Kinda defeats the purpose of the slow web if I didn't

if you do want to go for popularity later down the line, please take care in it. the last time ive seen someone put effort into that, it ballooned into some site-wide drama, they seemingly got brigaded from another forum site, and they got banned. not saying that will happen to you, but just plz take care

I think I'll keep it on the default colors for now but I'll look into a .js solution later if so. @dabric I very much appreciate the heads-up, the amount of people this site has already found has absolutely been getting me excited but I'm also trying to be cautious to not mess things up like that.
