Quick new blog today, back to the shop tomorrow! Usually I find it hard to stop working on projects and just relax. Trying to play a video game or something and my brain will just be like "GET BACK IN THE SHOP YA LAZY BUM!" But for some reason my brain has chilled out the last couple weeks, so I took advantage and went outside to touch grass, smell grass, eat grass and just generally become one with grass.

This blog comes in video form! By video I of course mean very hastily edited, roughly shot home video of us fumbling through animating a puppet armature we built.

Mostly busy carrying out bags of sawdust and other junk from the big rush before comicon. We completly redid the second workshop room which gave us the space to set up a permanent photo studio. We got some stop motion stuff shot today which hopefully I can post soon. Also verrrrry close to having things ready to turn on the online store.

No piece of software can clean up a broken 3D mesh better than some 80 grit sandpaper on a belt sander.

Both of my dust collection systems are HEPA, but I made sure to supplement this with the unbeatable furnace filter strapped to 20 dollar box fan. :D

Planet Comicon KC 2026 is in the books. Put up a sort of post mortem blog post on our experience in our third year, and where I think this project will go from here.

A new video blog today, showing off some progress on the animatronic for our Goblin Speaks fortune teller machine and some pattern making for some stop motion wizard clothes. (Please don't tell Zoltar that we borrowed his voice for audio testing.) Also put a few items up in the store which is finally open. Mostly small things for now until we figure out shipping the more complex models.
