APNG's are great because you can render in the alpha channel, which you cannot with .gifs. I use them exclusively in babelofdreams.neocities.org for z-indexing animated stuff with Alpha channel. It's also a lot older a format than I initially thought. Created in the early 2000s by Mozilla, and was considered dead because the PNG group rejected it (those bastards).

guess who made a picture-perfect 8-bit lancer pet for their miis... this will replace the tissue box pet I made that's literally just the tissue box item as a pet

Dear Nintendo, I know you don't want bad stuff being shared. But why can't I share via local play what I got from other people?
