Looks like I don't have it (but my phone is also not new so this probably doesn't apply to me), thank you for the PSA anyways

I'll likely be getting Graphine, or some other OS soon, i'm tired of android re-installing Block Blast or Tiktok onto my phone everytime my phone automatically updates https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_GGrEnN7CI

Sideloading isnt going away: if an APK comes from a verified developer, it installs like normal. If it’s from an unverified source, you complete a one-time security override toggle (which will have a processing time). But if you're a developer pushing your own builds via ADB, it bypasses the wait entirely. Disabling the service isnt exactly the right solution to this problem methinks.

And not to play devil's advocate, but these are the hard realities of tech companies playing cat-and-mouse with bad actors, and we're sorta along for the ride. I don't love where things are heading, and I certainly don't want these security checks to make developing harder (especially when Android owes its very existence to the open-source ethos, built from Linux kernal).

Oh dear, i get that very well,,, try to not beat yourself too hard for it, sometimes its hard to get back to lock in to even the most fun of projects, myself in particullar the longer i take to do anything the more i feel weighted and pressured to keep engaged.

Ive come to discover however that the best way this works for *me personally*, is to work on a project only when i have the creative burst aka a spontaneous interest to work with it, ive had plenty of weeks and even months of not wanting to do a single thing and slack off playing the same videogames and then my whole mood shifts over a momment.

Its only natural that we humans come across struggles and hesitations, if it makes you feel better know that your website will remain where its at regardless of how long you need for its next update and me and your followers will be much pleased to look forward to it :>, well i atleast would because you have been far too kind for me to not feel any interest, but certainly i must not be the only one to think that ^^
