ok i have it so that my eepsite reduces the number of connections when idle. so hopefully that'll work

i think self hosting over i2p slowed down my computer. why do i say that? because my computer just crashed for the 1st time in months after switching to linux mint xfce which is supposed to be lightweight

i might wanna change the xp-themed pages to 98.css just because the xp.css isn't working on the eepsite/mirrored website EDIT: i changed the xp-themed pages but only on the eepsite

i just downloaded the css files for my xp & win98 themed pages. i'm gonna wait until later to set up the i2p mirror. i already copied my files over to the i2p web server's eepsite folder. but i'm too lazy to worry about the rest right now

as some of you may know, i've been thinking of a backup plan for if this site shuts down or gets enshittified. but one thing i didn't mention months ago was that i've been thinking of how to self host a mirrored site on i2p since i've advocated for i2p usage in the past. i decided it would be good way to solve the issue. only problem is the mirrored site will probably not always be up

i also need to figure out how to implement my xp & 98 themes over i2p, since i import them from third party sources. dw i'll just follow built-in "web server" guide that comes with java i2p for the rest

i'm also not sure if i'm gonna have to redownload some images or just put a warning that hotlinked images might not work on the mirrored eepsite
