i think a lot of people who only have a rudimentary understanding of leftist history see "anarcho-communist" and think i'm like a fusion of a ML and an anarchist when anarcho-communism is its own ideology with its own history and movements. it often criticized how some of the left relied too much on electorialism and wielding state power directly for socialism

this is not to say i think state socialists are bad people. just that i'm critical of all power structures that rely on authority to get things done

i only said something because someone in my guestbook was really aggressive about how "i should be a socialist not a communist" nvm that most communists are socialists. the truth is i feel like i can't win with these discussions because if i try to have a nuanced opinion of "yes, the usa exaggerated certain things about these countries, but they're still not communist imo", i get backlash from multiple groups of ppl

if the american propaganda thing is about me mentioning rojava in my guestbook, i always had a bad feeling about them relying on the american military. plus ir a kurdish person complaining about how the western media ignored them being genocided in favor of this "spreading democracy" narrative. so no, that isn't me buying into western propaganda either
