Thank you!! Yes, it was a big change in my life, but I already studied japanese culture/language by myself when I was in the EU, so there was a few expected differences :) But I think most important thing was a lot of follows from my partner! Showed me the way of living here :)

It's cool you're getting into gopherspace! Have you come across gemini protocol before? It is similar in style, created more recently tho. Theres terminal clients available for it too

That gopher hole is pretty fun to fall int., enjoy it! As discopotato said, look into Gemini protocol too. It's inspired by gopher, modernized to use TLS for privacy/security and support for linking documents together :-) https://geminiprotocol.net/
