uhh,,, embarrased to say but that would be Mewgenics,,, (|lI.‸.) i can't believe how invested i've come to be in that game... (∩˃o˂∩) a disclaimmer that i don't likey at all the game's sense of humor at all! but i do am very very fond of the gameplay and specially the soundtrack

The good news are that there is a link on the internet archive with the page on which i used to play the game: https://web.archive.org/web/20080524050808/http://www.minijuegos.com/juegos/jugar.php?id=7 I can give you the juicy details abt the game itself if you want but tldr, you control a ball in a game with platforming and puzzle elements.

ToT The bad news are,, the name of the game itself. Its called "La pelota", (ᵕ—ᴗ—) you heard that freaking right, which translates to "The ball" in english. The most annoyingly possible generic name it could have ever been chosen. So you can bet that if the game is still uploaded somewhere that it must be buried under millions of unrelated results.

Oh and btw, i should note that for some reason, once you enter the link i provided a .dir file will be promptped for download, idunno what a .dir file is for but in this case i don't think its of any use.

ah, the .dir file in question seems to be the game itself, from the discontinued adobe director. there is a chrome extension "dirplayer" thats made to play these, but when i tried it it threw an error that theres no handler for extractAlpha, which is a problem with dirplayer. they also released a standalone version on their github https://github.com/igorlira/dirplayer-rs so you can try that maybe?

@tofutush XoX are you 100% positive that the .dir is the game itself? And idunno how is the standalone thing from the github meant to work

quite certain, since the browser extension threw a specific error, meaning it was able to read the file. i havent tested it on the standalone software but you can download it by going to the 'release' tab and downloading the latest version for windows. i didnt bc it was like 191MB and the download keeps pausing itself but presumably youd just plug the file in or something

I used to play a simple flash game called Hook Line and Sinker. I think it might have been timed, not sure anymore you had to catch certain fish that weighed a certain size to upgrade your fishing line. Catching groups of the same fish got you more points. But if you caught too big of a fish it'd snap your line and have to start over. I can't find it anywhere. Similar games but not this one

Also not a game that's flash or internet based at all: but I for the life of me cannot find Rayman. The very original one from 1995. Not the crap pot ports and remakes. Even the 30th anniversary Switch one isn't the exact original game
