i might install kubuntu instead of linux mint just because i hear that has kde and i really wanna use the aeroplasmatheme for it

you could install on mint to demo/save the headache of full install. iirc you can change your DE from the login screen

you can test out kubuntu in a virtual machine with VirtualBox. Can give u a chance to try out the desktop environment without wiping ur PC again :)

apparently my computer isn't "compatible" with windows 11 anyway. so i'm either gonna have to switch fully or dual boot linux mint and windows 10

I switched to linux mint and honestly after a week of adapting I am fully in preference to it. Lol

If you think you might need any Windows programs, dual boot. Wine and virtual machines aren't really reliable. None of the things I wanted ran in WINE, hence ww
