i dont like that i called someone out, i'm hella uncomfortable, but i dont think its right to hotlink & steal people's code. she changed her URL and turned her profile off again. it very much bothers me the lack of accountability. it very much bothers me that this is what im doing on neocities today. i'm sorry, i know it's unsavory and weird to make callout posts.

Sometimes you should call people out. It can be uncomfortable, but if they don't hear it from anyone, they may not recognize their mistake, or that their action(s) are unacceptable.
what's hotlinking? I'm pretty new to this and obviously I'm not gonna steal code but I don't wanna accidentally hotlink anything
@riots-archive : it is when you link to someone's files & assets directly from their server/website instead of downloading the file and uploading it to your own server/website. it's typically frowned upon as a default, but if someone explicitly states on their website "feel free to hotlink!" then you'll be alright!
