I've already submitted mine. Looking at the published entries for the first book however, full of professionally personal websites, I don't feel in the right place.

@dudalog - I know what you mean! Thought I'd find lots of sites like on Neocities, Nekoweb, etc and found a lot of really polished looking sites. BUT - my site is in there, too, and it definitely evokes an era and is not professional (but it's fun!). Soon as I figure out what stupid landscape my site is, I'm submitting it for the 2nd book.

I actually didn't have any uses for it but now I realize I don't need the printer for my captioned photo updates anymore. Assuming this thing can get bright enough lmao

one time i got a free couch this way (not from amazon) because they sent the wrong couch.

got a designers hat because they've sent me a wrong one.

I should also mention that I try to only use Amazon whenever I'm in-between moving places or genuinely can't buy something anywhere else, I can't imagine how much wasted stuff is out there from Amazon's loose return policy. I usually buy in-person or off eBay (they sell new stuff too)

no judgment from me. sometimes amazon is a necessary evil.

nothing wrong with using Amazon every now and then, I will say though, you should shop around. Not for the morality of it but because you can sometimes get stuff cheaper and/or faster if you order direct from manufacturers

heres what I learned: amazon has a program where they donate returned items to organizations and stuff!! my local spot where they find housing for homeless lgbt folks had some random stuff from amazon that was donated when I visited a creative event they hosted! neat stuff!! they should do that with everything thats returned imo

also, theres no ethical consumption under capitalism, so like.., Amazon is hard to avoid sometimes, when you need something (I work there. the greed people have is crazy. I have bruises on my legs from cat litter)
