tabf5, this is LOVELY! I love it, how peaceful it is— were you the one doing the narration? Its so nice! I feel like this is THE way websites should be used. I love interactive stories (obviously as one who has one) and this is such a delight. Was worth waiting for this whole time 🩷

isn't it crazy how there exists this internal pressure to update so consistently? like, this is the slow web. there's no algorithm (save for the neocities "front page" but that barely counts), no rush, and it's not unusual for people go months between updates. and yet i get that urge to update as frequently as i can, too. it's very strange

@skigothy Thought about this for a while, I think it's good to want to update somewhat frequently- the thing that the slow web should NOT be pressuring people to do is to consistently feel the need to out-do your previous site additions

Accidentally found your site while searching for something online and I'm really glad I did. Perhaps the most sobering material on the state of the 2020s internet I've ever read. Learning that the EFF has actually been an agent of Big Tech is a real gut-punch, but it makes a ton of sense
