Just a friendly reminder to PLEASE be kind and patient with folks working in the service industry right now. Keep in mind that especially those working in restaurants/fast food chains have had their orders tripled by a combination of their regular customers, mobile app orders and meal delivery services. Everywhere is understaffed rn, not bc people are lazy but because these places barely pay a living wage.

Today I watched a highly stressed and overworked staff member at a popular coffee chain lose their shit because the place was just getting too many orders to fill in a reasonable amount of time. Just please be kind and show empathy for your fellow people <3
