ohhhh I don't recognize all these guys but Tintin specifically was The Thing that got me into art and comics... I still retain only enough junior high french knowledge to half-comprehend BDs
Tintin is a CLASSIC, with all its flaws, and the ligne claire art style is pretty awesome... my french is pretty bad too but i forced myself to improve in order to read BDs that weren't translated SDFHNJSDF
I'm pretty familiar with Asterix and Obelix, I have a passing familiarity with Lucky Luke and Spirou (I've only ever read the latter in french so my comprehension of it still has some holes) but I know tintin back to front and IMO I still draw like I'm ripping off Herge
Nice !! Honestly, Hergé's work isn't bad to draw from... also he's less well known but have you heard of Jacques Tardi ? He has his own really unique and fun grasp on ligne claire !
