Christmas theme removed β¨ Now you'll all see the new pink light mode! Also created and added a 80x15 badge in support of Palestinians with a link to Hillhouse's resource page
hehe thank you!! I know it's not all pixelly like traditional 88x31s but it means I could hook into the prefers reduced motion CSS media query to be a lil bit more accessible
Added advert for https://32bit.cafe/holidays2023/ and a couple of new buttons :)
Also updated base light mode theme to be β¨pinkβ¨ and also everything is 75% more blobby
I have been working on a new about page which kinda goes off-design system but WE MOVE.
Bug Found! the picrew w the 684527 id (& the button eyes) has the link pasted twice so it ends up 404ing lol
Added a post on some learnings from Sara Soueidan's Practical Accessibility course and updated how I style lists, as a result! https://frills.dev/blog/231213-practical-accessibility/
Would you say the course is worth the price for a web agency? As in, goes deeper than the usual course? (Although that list example sure is precise.)
@mostlypixels oh for sure. Sara Soueidan is my ultimate hero for accessibility. I've only got to chapter 6 out of 19, so there will definitely be more things to share. But watching and engaging with the videos in her course will be the best way to absorb it
Thanks. I sent the link to my work slack in case someone is interested :)
just a lil currently reading update, tweaks to the words on the edit everything bookmarklet post, and added a christmassy border to the xmas theme
I'm really enjoying the Christmas theme. It's like people decorating their houses with fairy lights and xmas decorations except this time it's people's online homes. π₯°
I like very much the concepts of your accessiblity page.
this is so great!
