Tinkering with the site a little bit! also I have changed my name from fishbones to selkiedomus.
Okay, teeny little update! I changed the color pallete to something I like a lot better. I still want to draw my own background image, and figure out how to get that footer to move and give the boxes room. I'm pretty pleased with being able to add the opendyslexic font to my site though :3

thinking I might start my code over from scratch... or at least the css part. im having trouble with these stupid blue lines and trying to change the colors of the different parts. I think I need to use a different template... sorry for no update in 2 months im just having Real Bad Brain Fog and coding has taken second priority for me.

welp I just f'd up my entire site with this update! i also need to get started on drawing my own images for this lol. enjoy the update i guess?

i can help if you'd like? the blue lines seem to be from border-top and border-bottom on "box" if i understand correctly?
thanks for the offer! i cant think of anything specific i need help with though, my problem is more of a mental block. i think i just need to brush up on css. your comment about the blue lines is super helpful, thank you. those have been bugging me for a while but im new to all this and havent been able to figure out where theyre coming from. i think its because im using a template, so i dont fully understand it lol
i also am just feeling like starting over so this site feels more like my own, if that makes any sense lol. thank you again for your offer though
understood. if you're on a desktop browser you can use ctrl+shift+i to open something called devtools which lets you see and mess around with html/css of any webpage live (anything you do isn't saved, it's cleared after a refresh) if that helps you!
