at this point i'll sometimes introduce myself irl as sneek if i might continue interacting with someone online, or introduce myself as both first name and that esp if in english cos my first name isnt very english-speaker-friendly but i do still enjoy it in some ways hahaha (banger origin etc)

tangentially, curse of same username everywhere: cant pursue banger username ideas i stumble across cos of being attached to the one name / blessing of such: recognized by ppl across places :,) (a fellow oli xl fan told me "yeah i’ve seen you in random corners of the internet like 🤣 this bitch!!!" and shes likely not the only one thats had the experience 💀)

Re: trust, techbros have spent years trying to remove the need for trust in human interaction (because they're sociopaths). That's the whole point. Of course it doesn't work, and can't work, but everything they do is because they don't get it.
