You should totally make a zine. Ichigo Directory and Cutie Archive are awesome! Awhile back, as part of my "Internet archaeology", I would look for link directory books like this...

...just to grab some URLs to fish out of the Wayback. My purpose was to make a link directory of old educational websites (only partially finished right now), but seeing the development of かわいい aesthetics would be superb. I like your notes so far.

oh yes blue! I watched the live action for that one as well, and the composition used so much negative space it was really relaxing. The most memorable scene for me was when they walk to the beach, the imagery really sticks out for me for that one.
