well, just as i suspected, i do not have a fractured ankle. my fibula is actually broken in half completely. i have been walking on it for 2 weeks and it has been healing wrong so will most likely need surgery to insert metal rods in my leg. they were shocked i was able to walk at all, much less up and down stairs everyday!
