New page dropped! I’ve agonised for literal *years* over how to format it, but i decided to go for a fairly simple, brutal style in the end.

I picked up Synecdoche one night when I was feeling low and needed cheering up - 'let's watch a film!'. Hilarity ensues. A bit like when my relatives went to Deep Blue Sea thinking it was a romantic film.

"The smash hit comedy of the year!"

Someone should tell Penny that bonfire night isn't until next month

Does anyone know what that's about?

I think it’s just a Hallowe’en thing? The only thing i’ve heard recently re: online privacy is the proposed chat encryption ban in Europe, but that’s still in the drafting phase as far as i’m aware.

This isn’t really relevant to the static sites on Neocities but god damn does using HTMX feel like having superpowers, why wasn’t this in the spec the whole time

I dunno, but you just gave me a set of initials I've never heard of to look up. :)

There’s still a lot of things i’ve probably missed and have to fix, and i’m putting off writing the official update poasts until tomorrow when i’m less tired, and the DNS records are still propagating so you might still see the little pointing soyjak, but the all-new, blazing-slow, self-hosted version of satyrs.eu is LIVE!!

You know, this sounded like it would be a really quick project back in May
