There is no reason to use Times New Roman in any universe where Garamond exists. It is a profoundly ugly typeface, which only makes its overexposure all the more painful, unlike, say, Gill Sans, Verdana, or the Swiss grotesques. Friends don't let friends use Times

I realise that i’m under absolutely no obligation to explain what amounts to probably a fortnight and a half’s absence, not being a Youtuber who has to pump out clickbait every Friday so they don’t have to subsist entirely on baked beans, but it seemed impolite not to put up a post making the Not A Hiatus® official. (Plus my brain works in mysterious ways and it’s very much a weight off my back.)

A humble compromise suggestion: add back the follow notifications, but collapse them so that "shittybaby69 followed satyrwoud, corru, pikemalarkey, arkmsworld…" only takes up one post rather than like nine

im not sure how hard itd be on neocities's end to do this but it feels like a good way to do it. the sheer amnt of notifs like that made it a lot harder to keep up with site updates but i dont necessarily mind seeing them, they just needed condensed.
