Well the one benefit that neocities has is the community features. If you're talking soley about the website hosting, then glicth and github also exist.

dude Mace the USPS has been bleeding like a stuck pig for about a decade now due to everything happening by email and idiot politicians who figure it's better off privatized. it was gonna be in trouble this year even WITHOUT all this happening
